D-2 is the study visa for foreigners entering a regular degree program at a Korean college, university, graduate school, or approved academic institution. It is different from D-4, which is usually for non-degree training.
D-2는 한국의 전문대학, 대학교, 대학원 또는 인정되는 학술기관의 정규 학위과정에 들어오는 외국인을 위한 유학 비자입니다. 비학위 연수에 주로 쓰이는 D-4와 다릅니다.

1 ဘယ်သူနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သလဲ
- D-2 can be reviewed when the main purpose is regular degree study or an accepted academic/research route in Korea.
- The school and program must be eligible for foreign-student visa review, and the admission document must match the D-2 route.
- For associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral study, the student's education history must support the level they are entering.
- Night, distance, cyber, vocational, exchange, visiting, research, or work-study cases may have different handling, so confirm the exact D-2 subtype before preparing documents.
- D-2는 주된 목적이 한국의 정규 학위과정 또는 인정되는 학술·연구 경로일 때 검토될 수 있습니다.

3 လိုအပ်မည့် စာရွက်စာတမ်းများ
- Visa application form or visa issuance documents, passport, photo taken within the required period, and fee
- Standard Admission Letter issued by the Korean university or institution
- Copy of the educational institution's business registration certificate or registration-number certificate
- Proof of final education, such as graduation certificate or transcript, with Apostille, consular confirmation, or other verification if required
- Proof of financial ability, such as bank balance, scholarship certificate, sponsor documents, or other accepted evidence
- Family relationship documents if a parent's or family member's financial document is used
- TB test result, medical document, or additional embassy/school documents if applicable
- 사증발급신청서 또는 사증발급인정 관련 서류, 여권, 정해진 기간 내 촬영한 사진, 수수료
- 한국 대학 또는 기관에서 발급한 표준입학허가서
- 교육기관 사업자등록증 또는 고유번호증 사본

4 လျှောက်ထားနည်း
- Confirm which D-2 subtype matches your program before collecting documents.
- Receive the Standard Admission Letter and school documents from the university.
- Prepare education, financial, passport, photo, and family documents according to the embassy or immigration checklist.
- Apply through the Korean embassy/consulate or through the Certificate of Visa Issuance route if the school uses that process.
- After entering Korea, complete foreigner registration within 90 days if staying more than 90 days.
- Keep school, address, passport, enrollment, income, and part-time work permission information updated while staying in Korea.

5 သတိထားရန် (မကြာခဏ မှားတတ်သည့်အရာများ)
- Do not choose D-2 only because the program is at a university. The program must match a D-2 degree or accepted academic route.
- The Standard Admission Letter and final-education proof are important. A simple admission email may not be enough.
- Financial proof rules differ by embassy, school, nationality, scholarship, and sponsor situation.
- Part-time work is not automatic. School confirmation and immigration permission are required, and hours depend on program level, Korean ability, school status, and current rules.
- School change, address change, passport change, leave of absence, dropout, or graduation can create reporting or status-change duties.
- 대학에서 하는 과정이라고 해서 모두 D-2가 아닙니다. 과정이 D-2 학위 또는 인정 학술 경로와 맞아야 합니다.
- 표준입학허가서와 최종학력 입증이 중요합니다. 단순 입학 이메일만으로는 부족할 수 있습니다.
- 재정 입증 기준은 공관, 학교, 국적, 장학금, 보증인 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.
- 시간제 취업은 자동 허용이 아닙니다. 학교 확인과 출입국 허가가 필요하며 허용 시간은 과정, 한국어 능력, 학교 상태, 최신 규정에 따라 달라집니다.
- 학교 변경, 주소 변경, 여권 변경, 휴학, 자퇴, 졸업은 신고 또는 자격변경 의무와 연결될 수 있습니다.
- Program က တက္ကသိုလ်မှာရှိတယ်ဆိုရုံဖြင့် D-2 ဖြစ်မည်ဟု မယူဆပါနှင့်။ Program သည် D-2 ဘွဲ့သင်တန်း သို့မဟုတ် အသိအမှတ်ပြုထားသော ပညာရေးလမ်းကြောင်းနှင့် ကိုက်ရမည်။
