D-2 သည် အသိအမှတ်ပြု ကိုရီးယားတက္ကသိုလ်၏ ဘွဲ့သင်တန်း (Associate၊ ဘွဲ့၊ မဟာဘွဲ့၊ ပါရဂူ၊ သုတေသန၊ ဖလှယ်) တွင် အချိန်ပြည့် ပညာသင်ရန်ဖြစ်သည်။ အရည်အချင်း၊ စာရွက်စာတမ်း၊ လျှောက်နည်းနှင့် မှားတတ်သည့်အရာများ။
1 Who it's for
- You're admitted to a regular degree program at a junior college or university registered in Korea's foreign-student system (FIMS).
- Sub-types by program: D-2-1 associate, D-2-2 bachelor's, D-2-3 master's, D-2-4 doctoral, D-2-5 research, D-2-6 exchange, D-2-7 work-study, D-2-8 visiting.
- Night, distance/cyber universities and Polytechnic vocational courses are generally excluded. Some pre-reviewed night degree programs and degree-track "multi-skilled technician" courses may be exceptions.
- 유학생정보시스템(FIMS)에 등록된 전문대학 이상에서 정규 학위 과정에 입학 허가를 받은 분.
- 세부약호: D-2-1 전문학사, D-2-2 학사, D-2-3 석사, D-2-4 박사, D-2-5 연구, D-2-6 교환학생, D-2-7 일·학습연계, D-2-8 방문학생.
- 야간·원격·사이버대학, 폴리텍 직업훈련과정은 원칙적으로 제외됩니다. 다만 일부 사전심사된 야간 학위과정 등 예외가 있을 수 있습니다.

- D-2-1 Associate Degree — Associate degree programs at junior colleges
- D-2-2 Bachelor's Degree — Bachelor's degree programs at 4-year universities
- D-2-3 Master's Degree — Graduate master's degree programs
- D-2-4 Doctoral Degree — Doctoral / PhD programs
- D-2-5 Research Program — Research program (requires a master's degree or higher)
- D-2-6 Exchange Student — Exchange program under an inter-university agreement
- D-2-7 Work-Study Program — Combined work-and-study study-abroad program
- D-2-8 Visiting Student — Students enrolled at a home-country university studying for at least one semester in Korea

3 Documents you'll need
- Visa application form, passport copy, one photo taken within 6 months
- Certificate of admission (표준입학허가서) issued by the university president
- The school's business registration certificate (copy)
- Proof of your final academic record — verified by Apostille or Korean consular confirmation (extra checks apply for some countries)
- Proof of financial ability such as a bank-balance certificate; if a parent's balance is used, add family-relationship documents
- TB test certificate (if applicable)

4 How to apply
- Get your certificate of admission from the university's international office.
- Have your academic and financial documents verified (Apostille or consular confirmation).
- Apply at the Korean embassy or consulate in your country — or your school may handle the Certificate of Confirmation of Visa Issuance (사증발급인정서) process.
- After you receive the visa and enter Korea, complete foreign-resident registration within 90 days.
- 학교 국제처에서 표준입학허가서를 받습니다.
- 학력·재정 서류를 아포스티유 또는 영사확인 받습니다.
- 본국의 대한민국 대사관·영사관에서 신청하거나, 학교가 사증발급인정서 절차를 진행하는 경우가 있습니다.
- 비자를 받고 입국하면 90일 이내에 외국인등록을 합니다.
- ကျောင်း၏ နိုင်ငံတကာဌာနမှ ဝင်ခွင့်လက်မှတ် ရယူပါ။
- ပညာနှင့် ငွေကြေး စာရွက်များကို Apostille သို့မဟုတ် သံရုံး အတည်ပြုချက် ရယူပါ။

5 Watch out for (common mistakes)
- Use a school registered in FIMS — a non-eligible institution means no D-2.
- A bank-balance certificate is usually valid only if issued within 30 days — check the timing.
- Document rules differ by country and change often — confirm the latest list on HiKorea.
- FIMS에 등록된 학교인지 확인하세요 — 대상이 아니면 D-2가 발급되지 않습니다.
- 잔고증명서는 보통 30일 이내 발급분만 유효합니다 — 발급 시점을 확인하세요.

6 Important notes
- Maximum stay per grant: 2 years (extendable)
- Extensions are issued to match the academic schedule. At visa-review-strengthened universities, a D grade (1.0) or below triggers a one-time 6-month extension with a written explanation; further D-grade semesters result in restricted extension
- Part-time work requires school confirmation and immigration permission. Allowed hours vary by degree program, year, Korean ability, and school accreditation
- Re-entry within 1 year requires no permit; for 1–2 years you must obtain a multiple re-entry permit before leaving
- Changes to name, sex, date of birth, nationality, passport, or school must be reported within 15 days
- Total stay cap by program length: associate 3–4 yrs, bachelor's 6–7 yrs, master's 5–6 yrs, doctoral 7–8 yrs (from enrollment)

- 1회 부여 체류기간 상한: 2년 (연장 가능)
- 연장은 학사일정에 맞춰 부여. 비자심사강화대학 재학 중 D학점(1.0) 이하 시 최초 1회 사유서 제출 후 6개월만 연장되며, 이후에도 D학점 이하면 연장 제한
- 시간제 취업은 학교 확인과 출입국 허가가 필요합니다. 허용 시간은 학위과정, 학년, 한국어 능력, 학교 인증 여부에 따라 달라집니다.
- 1년 이내 재입국은 허가 면제, 1~2년은 복수재입국허가 필요
